Perosonal Note: We stayed at the Ronald McDonald on Chestnut Street - it was very nice! Homecooked meals for dinner were provided and there was personal storage space for food (refrigeration space as well) if desired. There were a ton of activities including big screen t.v.'s, books, toys, outside seating/gardens, video games, pool table etc... The new rooms have private bathrooms, the older section has shared bathrooms for several rooms (men's and women's separte of course!) Free parking too! Most recently we stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in Camden, NJ which believe it or not is closer than the one in Philly - it is only 6 miles away and is easier to access than the one in Philly (I believe) - it is smaller, but each room has its own bathroom and the accomodations are equally as impressive. There is a ton of food, laundry facilities, tvs, books, games, etc... It is truly amazing that places like this exist!.
